Some of Tottenham Hotspur’s stars had their NFL knowledge tested recently in a video with sponsors Betway.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Sergio Reguilon, Ben Davies, and Lucas Moura were put through their paces in a fun quiz that saw what they knew about American Football be put to the test, perhaps to see if they have been paying attention when the game comes to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium each year.
The four players were put into two teams and were shown in the Betway Insider video to be competing against each other across three rounds that involved a number of different challenges.
The first round required the two teams to play a game of charades that would involve the stars looking to try and guess the NFL teams that were being acted out.
Reguilon was tasked with acting them out for Hojbjerg and the pair did rather well in their attempt, whilst Moura became rather active with his attempts as he played out a few for Davies.
However, whilst the game of charades perhaps was a great start for the first team, the second round was one that really showed that their knowledge of the NFL and the terms that are used were not quite up to the same level as their opponents.
Reguilon and Hojbjerg certainly ‘fumbled’ their way through the round as they found that they were unable to describe what the vast majority of the terms had meant, leaving Davies and Moura to have the giggles.
Thankfully, they knew what the terms that they were given were, with some of them being rather specialized, thus highlighting they knew what they were talking about.
Round 3 provided a geography-style quiz, as the teams were required to place the NFL teams on a blank map of the United States of America.
At the end of the video, it was revealed that Moura and Davies were the winners with a score of 12-11, although that did seem to surprise the Wales international as he was seen questioning how badly the other team did.
Indeed, the NFL season has come to an end for another year after the LA Rams managed to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals at Super Bowl LVI on February 13.
However, it might just provide Reguilon and Hojbjerg with another time to learn a little more ahead of the next season and be in a position to be an expert by the time another match is played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
